As someone who takes so much joy and healing pleasure in the practice of meditation – incorporating quite often the power of mantras – I am so happy that such exquisite, hand-made Mala Beads are now available in the Sielunkristalli crystal pendant range. Each Mala Bead Necklace will follow in the tradition of the original mala beads to include 108 beads, a Guru Bead and, in most cases, tassel.

Along with being a simply beautiful piece to wear around you, Mala Beads are also a powerful tool for meditation and/or mantra practice. To use in this way, begin by holding the first bead next to the Guru Bead (the large bead). Breathe deep and slowly, feel relaxed. When you are ready, begin by setting an intention. You can repeat this chosen intention, prayer or mantra as you move through each bead. The repetition of your positive intention, prayer or mantra as you move in this slow, relaxed way, deepens your focus and your connection. You repeat until you have moved through all beads back to the Guru bead again.
Finish your meditation gently, opening your eyes and sitting silently for a few moments. Embracing the peace and stillness. Giving yourself some space and time to meditate daily is such a gift to the soul, allowing the peaceful energies to flow to heart and mind.
